I am a long-time fan of Milla Jovovich. I was first a fan of her young modeling career, then her acting, then her fashion designing, and now her life as a new mother to a beautiful little girl. But I think my love of her as a model is what thrills me so much about her fashion line.

Created in 2003 with model Carmen Hawk, the pieces can be found in over 50 stores around the world. The designers tout their line as being wearable for all sizes and body types—a fact that probably helped it gain a collection with Target’s GO International line in 2007.

The pieces are classic, perhaps even a tad retro, but with enough modernity to be highly wearable and stylish today. The line is very thought-out and the ladies are extremely hands-on, having not even hired anyone to help sew their garments until 2005!

Milla Jovovich, continuing her acting career in “Resident Evil: Extinction”, wore pieces from her fashion line. Quite a fantastic marketing move to combine three passions into one venue!

Though still a relatively new collection, I think the Jovovich-Hawk line is one to keep an eye on. Milla has shown the fashion world that she has true staying power. Not only can she still model, I think her fashion line will continue to evolve, grow, and expand to different retail markets. It’s definitely a line to keep your eyes on.
